I prefer tournaments, but there are plenty of players who would rather play ring games. In terms of making money, ring games and SNGs are certainly subject to less variance, so it depends in part on how this factors into your personal definition of fun.

Tournaments are great, but just playing live with your friends is better, not only do your friends fatten your pocket, they usually bring the beer ;) Lets see that happen online!

MTT are more fun, more exiting and the potential short term reward is a lot higher!!!
But Ring games are the bread and butter!

I agree with KINGJACK MTT's are good for the potential big payout but ring games are where I make my account grow. Also I find that if my cash game starts to go bad, I'll play a couple of MTT's to try and refocus my game or to practice making some different plays and see how they work.

I like ring games better for good results, but tourneys have the bigger payout. My best results are actully with the Sit'n'go's. Whatever. L8r, GBU, WG

its very diferent to cash games. u don't have that much pressure preflop, but much after it ;-)

Good luck Pauklzorz. My game is currently in the crapper. Somehow I am able to find the table with really loose players. Which I like because the potential payoffs, but man alive, I keep getting sucked out on. Oh well back to the basics.
