Only UTG folded and the 6 players in front all limped in. I'm thinking here, whats my play? I know 10's aren't a powerhouse multi-way, unless I improve. I came across (in my 15 seconds, ) 2 different possibilites of play. Do I -
A) Raise around the pot size and hope to take the pot down there and then (pot was around 200 chips + on 2nd level).
or
B) Limp in to hit the set, and hope some of the limpers give me action. I'm also hoping to see massive pot odds to draw to the turn card at least.
I took my time on my decision and am interested on hearing what your particular play is and why.......

I would wait untill i see the flop and then :
1. if i hit another 10 - play it sneaky to get as much as possible in the end
2. if didnt hit , but flop cars are low - bet high - try to get others to fold
3. if u didnt hit but flop cards are high - well - fold

i agree, but the thing with a low flop is that is all 3 cards are below T, there's a chance someone out there is on a straight draw. watch out for those, be sure to make it expensive enough for them.

you should try at first...to kick some guys preflop out with betting high...

with 6 players already in the hands it's too much for 10 10 even if you catch a set you could be in trouble.
in this situation you should bet strong if an aces it on the flop you should represent the aces and bet strong again if somebody go over the top of you then you should fold.
sometime it`s better be lucky than good

you should call and try and hit trips.

I would probably just call and see a cheap flop but there is a case for a raise to reduce the number of players in the pot.

don't be angry at yourself for losing against AA. It happens, it sucks, but it''s no problem. you just have to pay someone off some of the time.

Fit or fold...TJ Cloutier
You could raiseand try to thin the field, or you could see a cheap flop and if it "FITS" play hard and if it doesn't fold and no one at the table is any the wiser to your hole cards. As you probably have seen, most people are unwilling to fold to anything but a massive bet preflop once they have any money in the pot.

Don't represent the ace, please!
with 6 players in there the chances that none of them have an ace ale almost nil!
you want the set. limp in, and fold if you don't get it.

Always tricky playing those 10's...
With a lot of guys in, I make a midsize raise to try to isolate 1 player. If I get reraised, I tend to fold unless the player is a maniac.
