I was wondering, how many players go allin with any pair. like say you have 44, and 6 people call the blinds, is this a good time to push and steal blinds, or no? also, AK is another hand i see alot of allins with.. what do you all think.

Having six in the game, IMHO it's not the correct timming to try to steal the blinds (depends on the size of the BB also) w/ a low pair like 44, just call and wait for the flop, and if the flop doesn't helps be more carefull, from a long time I've been using a rule that in 70% or so of the hands it works for me: when my card doesn't shows up at the flop and someone bet more than 2x the BB I fold. My 2 cents (take care, maybe they are false)

i always lose with AA. With QQ or JJ I mostly win. Is this bad luck or what?

if your stack is very low and it´s your last chance go all in with small pairs, otherwise not

no way! if 6 people are in, chances are quite high one of them at least will have something decent which will beat you. of course, you can make a pure bluff here but in that case it doesnt really matter what your cards are. ...

It depends on many factors; with 6 players, the only move is call; then if you hit a set u can play but aware but that it could it are to us of the other highest one!!!!! GL AT THE TABLE

With 6 callers I'm not even comfortable going all in with Pocket Aces. I won't say much more because I'll probably make a fool of myself, but I think pockets are strong only when you are 3 handed or fewer. So many suited connectors hit their straight or flush or two pair that I don't trust my pockets too frequently.

I have seen most of the time high pp's getting beat by straights and flushes, as well as being beat by lower pp's. When you raise you need to raise big with the high ones. Most players with low kickers with their ace will fold, the ones with lower pocket pairs will call and probably hit. The odds of hitting an ace or king when needed will depend on how many people are in the hand. I have found most of the time lower pockets are alot better than higher ones.

For example.. yesterday i could done better in one tournament... i didn't call a big bet of 9k (blinds 500/1000).. i had 44.. i could have beaten 2 players.. one had KK the other had 1010.. and came a 4 on the flop and nothing for them... had been a triple up in a crucial moment at the tournament.. whatever.. if i had call, i won... but to call i must put my chips all in.. so.. u never know until see the flop! thx -------

I agrre with most of the people here about the small pairs beating pkt-AA's, KK's, QQ's JJ's...I hate JJ's with a passion. I have a better chance with pkt-deuces which by the way is my favorite hand of all. LOL
