I'm probably going to be playing in a big live tournament later this month (at least big as far as what I've played so far). There are going to be over 100 people in it and the buy in is 50 dollars. I think I'm at least a decent tournament player but I could use some advice I'm sure. If anyone has some constructive advice they could give me then please do.

I say play your game. Don't go changing last minute as you want to be comfortable playing. Only advice I may have patience, find the easy money guys and those who are too aggressive and play accordingly. Good luck with your tourney and post your results.

The tournament ended up only having 79 or 80 people in it. I placed 9th overall and missed the money by one. I played well I think overall but made a bonehead move at the end to get knocked out. Anyway it was actually fun and I feel pretty confident that I can do well in these kind of tournaments when I play them again. Thanks to all of you who posted advice for me and I'll post more about other tournaments that I play later (if anyone is interested that is).
