I've played there a few times and I really like it. I particularly like their $500-Freeroll tournament.

I've played a bit there, nice graphics and a big poker room (high traffic).

Came 2nd in a $10 multi earlier this year on a friends account, but I haven't been back for a few months. I like it it because it is one of the sites where I first started playing. Plus the option to play from your browser is nice.

I'd never deposit there again!! They have more network problems then any other site I've played at!! They'll block your account without notice. Your better off going to Hollywood! They have the same skins, same network and at least when a tournament is interupted because of network problems they pay you back where PR or as the guys who I played there with called it Jokerroom will take your $$$ and make you wait months to get refund (which usually would end up being a tix to a tournament where if you win you get into another) As for the $500 freeroll, do they have it? All I ever see anymore is the $100 in which only the top 10 get $$, the others get a tix to get a chance at getting into another tournament. So if you are lucky enough to finish in the 11-30 postion you have to win another 10 person tournament to get in another tournament then you get a chance at the $$$.

That's too bad about your deposit situation there. (hehehe) I wish you all the luck at the tables. I thought for a while there CD-POKER was my answer from the Poker GODS until they restricted me from playing because I'm playing out of American Samoa.
Oh well, you can't win 'em all I guess!!

Show moderator reply Big Xmas guarantee that wasn't
December 18, 2006 at 11:52:31 Post 1
On the 15th of December I received an email from Pokeroom advertising " The big xmas tourneys" to be played on the 16th and 17th of December. I entered the $20 + 2 xmas tourney that had an advertised prizemoney of GUARANTEED $19000 and the winner was also to get a $2000 flat tv screen. I came 4th in the tourney and a consequence I received prize money of around $1200. With my account all cashed up I played a few tourneys over the last 2 days which left my account balance of around $900. About 1 hour ago my whole balance disapeared. When I contacted support they told me that they had made a mistake and they had overpaid us. they say that they are still looking into it but all money has been detacted. Is it fair??? If they advertised $19000 guaranteed tournament shouldn't they stick to their word??

There will be a clause written in very small print buried somewhere on the website stating

I am so pissed off at them. I just received an email from support admitting that they made a mistake and blaming it to a technical error. As a result they deducted $1074. As a gesture of goodwill they didnt deduct the $22 for the cost of the tourney..haha... Not only they took my money they try to be seen as the good guys... This is a joke.. The tourney was advertised with a guarantee $19000 prizepool. why should I have to pay for their mistakes. This is not fair.. Bookmark post

Just goes to prove that the only guarantee in life is death. While you are asking support about this unfortunate event can you also ask support why US players have not been refunded for any outstanding tickets on account(even though they are still valid tickets)?
If you think a $1,000 dollar error is funny - try 230,000 players @ $100 each.
Merry Christmas Pokerroom and Happy New Year (my $320 ticket expires worthless on the 13th of January, 2007).
Best holiday wishes to all the poker players on here.
