With a little over a week until the November 6th WSOP Main Event Final Table play down, there has been a lot of individual press on the November 9 final tablists that you can check out at the various poker news outlets.
The WSOP officials held a news conference on Wednesday clarifying some issues.
- They will only allow three promotional patches per poker room. So Full Tilt will have to decide which of their 7 signed players are to represent them.
- Each player will have their own hand picked entrance song.
- There will be more room for fans, a few less seats assigned to friends and family of players.
- 21 cameras covering the action
- ESPN's coverage will be aired Tuesday Nov. 9 at 10 pm
- Live coverage will be streamed on ESPN3.com (with 5 minute delay)
- James Hartigan and a rotation of pros will do the live coverage
- Heads up play will occur on Nov. 8th at 11:30 pm
- A lot of story lines regarding Michael Mizrachi, positive, not covering his tax problems.
- All are young aggressive pros, except for the lone amateur in Soi Nguyen
