For the second time this year, the World Poker Tour has held an event in France.  This the Seven Casino d’Amneville hosts the €3200+€300 buy-in Main Event in the Northeatern town of Amneville.

There were 542 players entered combined between the Day 1a and Day 1b fields making it the biggest World Poker Tour event outside of the United States.  They will join together Thursday for a combined Day 2.


Notables poker players playing include Arnaud Mattern, Nicolas Levi, Per Linde, Jake Cody, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Bodo Sbrzesny, Dragan Galic, and Ludovic Lacay.

They are playing for a prize pool of €1,734,400 and a first place prize of €433,000 first-place prize, plus an entry to the $25,000 WPT World Championship.
