Jim Anderson, from Wooster, Ohio won the $10k buy-in WSOPC Hammond Regional Championship for $525,449 from the record $2,101,800 prize pool. He is a former bartender who cashed twice in this past summer's WSOP in Las Vegas, including 242nd in the Main Event.

Gabe "gp333" Patgorski, a Virginia based poker pro who is a co-host on the new RootBone Radio on PokerStatic finished second. He was the table chip leader coming in and played strong big chip stack poker throughout the day, constantly putting pressure on the smaller stacks. He made one big miss step three handed when he 5 bet shoved all in with A,6 against Jim Anderson, second in chips, who called with Jacks and won to double into the big chip lead.  In heads up play, he was down 1.83 million to Anderson's 4.95 million and went out when his A,J suited couldn't outflop Jim Anderson's AA.

Jim Anderson outlasted 225 other players to win the title and the Circuit ring, along with entry into the National Championship in Las Vegas in May 2011.
