Who do you think is the best NFL quarterback of all time? My choice Dan Marino Miami Dolphins.

John Elway by far. Joe Montana was also a great QB, but since I'm a Broncos fan I couldn't ever really admit that I thought Montana was a good QB.

Dan Marino I think is the best ever. 420 touchdown passes, 61,361 passing yards, 4,967 pass completions, all good for first in the NFL record books.

The reason that I bring that up is Elways ability to lead. The best arm in the world ( which Marino probably had ) just isn't going to make a team follow you. I just think Elway is by far the best leader the NFL has seen. The only one in his class would be Montana.

Has to be Montana IMO. Close 2nd and 3rd...........Elway and Marino. 10 years from now, the answer will be Carson Palmer.

I think probably given time Peyton Manning might be considered best all time, but time will tell. Super bowl rings have nothing to do with whose best quarterback, if it did Bob Griese of the Dolphins (Super Bowl VII & VIII) would have a claim. He was a good quarterback who called his own plays and was a great field general but not the best quarterback ever.
