I think that players that log into a game then sitout untill lots of players have been knocked out should be penalised. One way of doing this would be to make all players who have been timed out twice should automatically pay the BB even if they are not the BB player. This way there stack would not last so long. Any better suggestions?

i agree with you. i was playing a freeze out and two of the people who had big wins sat out till the last table a sure win. yes each time they come in on their blinds, which they do they should have to pay double.

It would be nice if they did something about it, but the problem is how to make a software that would do that.... There is also many other forum posts about this...nice point is that they are just folding every hand. Even if you participate at the table, you could fold every hand and that would make you look like you're sitting out.

The software could detect if a player is folding,or if the hand is automatically being folded.

I agree... some pokerrooms kick those out of freerolls after 10 minutes sit-out!

It's problem 4 sure .I also play at * and in their tournys sit outs are removed after the first set of blinds, unless they have actullaly have played some hands. If they can do it there why not other sites as well? It's not perfect but would help.

i really don't know why players just don't get together to stop it, take turns raising and folding until they are gone and everyone splits the chips. every sitout would be virtually gone inside an hour and everyone would have lots of chips so some really good poker can start about the 2nd hour.
the older i get, the better i was
